TRI: always neutral-start; begins with a short leftward charge, then fast right-up along the hypotenuse, then returns to start.
Pin Motion Creator
Click-and-drag the center pin to record up to 15s of motion. On release, a tab appears below. Select a tab to Play or Copy. Copying adapts to the current timeline length; right-click a pin on the main canvas and choose “Paste Pin Path”. Keeps up to the last 3 movements.

Docs
Quickstart and feature reference for Warp Animate, Image Editor, Legacy Animations and exports.
Upload a PNG/WebP/JPEG with transparent or solid background.
Add Pins: When adding new pins you must be on the first frame. Click to add, drag to pose. Use extra pins to anchor rigid parts (hips, shoulders) and drive motion (hands, feet, head).
Pose at frames: move the timeline; drag pins to create key poses. Tweening preserves mesh deformation between keys.
Tweening: click any frame and changes will interpolate across in‑between frames.
Preview with Play. Adjust FPS and duration as needed.
Export to PNG sequence, WebM (alpha), or animated WebP.
Core Controls
Add Pin: click canvas
Move Pin: drag
Move starting position: hold L‑CTRL, click pin, drag (must be on first frame of animation)
Rotate Pin: hold ALT, click pin, drag
Select Multiple Pins: hold SHIFT, click pin multiple pins, drag
Delete Pin: select then press Delete, or right-click the pin and choose Delete
Reset: toolbar Reset button
Undo: Ctrl+Z
Zoom / Pan: mouse wheel to zoom, middle mouse button +drag to pan
Mesh Rows / Cols: increases / decreases the amount of coverage and complexity. Has an impact on strength.
Edge Quality: decrease the slider to increase the quality, heavy impact on performance.
Strength slider: Increases / decreases the strength of warping.
Timeline & Keyframes
Move the time slider to a frame, pose pins, and a key is recorded for those pins. Repeat across frames. (Hold Shift to select multiple frames.)
Duration: set total frames/seconds
FPS: affects playback and export timing
Multi‑Image: load images into Multi‑Image; hold Shift to select frames on the timeline and insert
Pin Motion Creator (Record & Paste)
In the side panel, record a pin’s motion by dragging the helper pin in the mini‑canvas. Adjust Distance (px). Copy the path and paste to any pin.
Tips
Use more pins to lock rigid zones; fewer pins for flexible zones to avoid tearing.
Keep elbows/knees anchored with pins near joints to preserve silhouette.
Free Transform: scale/rotate via corner/edge handles; hold Shift for proportional
Onion Skin: upload images in Image editor Onion skin to see them behind, only visible to you.
Send single frames from Warp Animate to the image editor with the Send to Image Editor button, works both ways.
Background Remover
Uses AI (rembg) to cut backgrounds. Tweak tolerance and defringe to clean edges.
Auto‑Spritesheet Cutter
Auto‑detect gutters or pack blobs after or before background removal. Normalize frame sizes, then export a numbered PNG sequence (ZIP).
Legacy Animations
One‑click presets for breathing, bobbing, simple rotations, and quick warps for rapid iterations.
AI Generation (Google Nano Banana)
Generate concept art or variants. Each image costs credits. Use masks to target regions. You own what you make. On paid plans, neither Google nor Warp Studio claims ownership of your AI‑generated images. You’re responsible for ensuring you have rights to any input content you upload and for how you use the outputs. Outputs may be similar to content generated for others. Do not use the service to create infringing or unlawful content.
Masking
Use blue mask to reveal areas for editing or AI generation. Blue = editable (lower alpha = lighter editing).
Export
PNG Sequence: lossless frames for compositing or spritesheets
WebM (alpha): VP9 with transparency for the web/video editors that support it
Animated WebP: lightweight looping assets with alpha
